LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A stifling defense and Miss Basketball Sydney Moss pushed the Kentucky girls' All-Stars past their Indiana counterparts 75-47 Friday at Freedom Hall.
Boone County's Moss, the daughter of former NFL star Randy Moss, had 14 points - 12 in the first half - and 12 rebounds. She will play collegiately at Florida next season.
Kentucky missed its first 10 field goals but held Indiana scoreless for nearly seven minutes in the first half en route to a 39-37 advantage at the break. They stretched the lead to 23 before a 9-0 Indiana run made it 53-39 with about 10 minutes to play. But Indiana would draw no closer, shooting just 26 percent in the half.
Rachel Gregory led Indiana with 10 points.
