LEXINGTON, Ky (WYMT) - Three of Kentucky basketball's most recent alums were back in Lexington Thursday. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Doron Lamb and Darius Miller were back to help out their former coach John Calipari.
Coach Cal's Pro Camps are underway, and the three came back to help host the camp as well as teach kids some fundamentals of the game. Life has changed a lot for the three in just a couple of months, but they are adjusting.
"I still feel the same, believe it or not. I'm still the same little kid I was here. It's been good, but a lot of hard work." - says Kidd-Gilchrist.
"I've been enjoying it. Especially seeing these guys again", according to Darius Miller. "I got to play against Doron in the summer league and that was fun. I've just been having fun with it and enjoying it."
"It's a lot of traveling. It's a lot of fun at the same time, because you're playing with great players. Playing with veteran players and getting better", say Lamb.
