HARROGATE, TN - The Lincoln Memorial University men's and women's basketball games against the Tusculum College Pioneers have been moved to Monday, February 17 due to inclement winter weather throughout the area.
The Lady Railsplitters (12-8, 11-5 SAC) and Railsplitters (18-2, 14-2 SAC) were originally scheduled to take on the Pioneers on Wednesday, but the threat of severe weather postponed those contests back a day to Thursday. With a large accumulation of snowfall overnight, the LMU athletic department has postponed those games further to Monday, February 17. The Lady Railsplitters are set to tip-off at 6 p.m. with the men to follow at 8 p.m. in Tex Turner Arena.
Both the men's and women's teams hope to be back in action on Saturday, February 15, traveling to Hickory, North Carolina (weather permitting) for a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader against the Lenoir-Rhyne University Bears. Those games are set to tip at 4 and 6 p.m. in Shuford Memorial Gym.
