MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Looking to gain ground in the Ohio Valley Conference race, the Morehead State women's basketball team hosts in-state rival Eastern Kentucky Saturday at 5:15 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the MSU men.
The Eagles (8-16/4-6 OVC) will look to capture a few wins down the stratch to move up in the league standings and earn an OVC Tournament berth. The Lady Colonels (13-8/7-3) are tied for second in the East division. EKU defeated MSU 62-52 in Richmond on Jan. 12.
Following Saturday's game, MSU continues a four-game homestand on Feb. 16 against Tennessee Tech.
