Last season, the Middlesboro Yellow Jackets were crowned district champions after defeating Harlan County, and were eliminated in the first round of the 13th Region tournament just five days later.
This season, under senior leadership, the Yellow Jackets will look to repeat as district champions, but also get over the hump and advance further in the regional tournament.
