MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men's basketball team returns to Johnson Arena on Friday when it welcomes Conference USA foe Southern Mississippi. Tip-off is set for approximately 7:30 p.m. ET.
The contest will be part of a doubleheader as the Morehead State women entertain NAIA nationally-ranked opponent Bethel (Tenn.) at 5:15 p.m. One ticket gets fans into both games.
The Eagles, 5-7 on the season, suffered a 69-49 setback at North Dakota State last Friday. The Golden Eagles, 8-4 overall, dropped a 59-51 decision at Wichita State last Saturday.
Friday’s game will be the eighth meeting between Morehead State and Southern Mississippi in men’s basketball. MSU has won three straight and leads the series, 5-2.
