Boone County's Sydney Moss headlines a group of players and coaches honored by The Associated Press on Wednesday as the girls' high school player of the year.
DuPont Manual's Stacy Pendleton is the girls' coach of the year after leading his school to a state title, while Louisville's Trinity swept the boys' awards just like the school did during football season.
Shamrocks forward Nathan Dieudonne earned player of the year honors, while Mike Szabo is coach of the year after they led Trinity to the boys' Sweet 16 state title in March.
Moss, the daughter of NFL wide receiver Randy Moss, is headed to Florida while Dieudonne is off to Boston University next season. The two were among 22 athletes honored by 16 voting members of The Associated Press.
