Nickell named player of the week

PIPPAS PASSES Ky. - Alice Lloyd College junior Ariel Nickell was named the KIAC women’s basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 5th.

Alice Lloyd finished the week 1-1 after defeating Martin Methodist 93-83 and falling to Union College 111-83. Nickell averaged 28 points and 11.5 rebounds for the week.

The junior forward had 38 points and 15 rebounds against Martin Methodist. She also had 18 points and 8 rebounds against Union College. Alice Lloyd is currently 1-1 overall.

The Eagles will return to action on November 6th when they host Kentucky Christian University.
