Patriots stay steady in NAIA Top 25 Poll

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) men's basketball team is off to a memorable start as they currently sit at 12-0 overall and a 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference. The NAIA Men's Basketball Division I Top 25 poll was released Tuesday, December 11th and the Patriots continue to remain among the elite in the NAIA as they were voted the #2 team in the NAIA this week. The Patriots did earn more total points this week as they notched 274 total points and three first-place votes.

The Patriots’ consistency this season has them on their largest winning streak since the 2003-2004 season. UC continued their winning ways this past week as they took down Carver College 92-72 and then #18 Life University 81-77 in Marietta on back-to-back days.

Oklahoma Baptist continues their stay at #1 in the 2nd regular-season edition of the 2012-13 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Bison improved to 10-1 on the season. Oklahoma Baptist collected 8 of the 11 possible first-place votes and 279 total points.

The Patriots look to finish out the 1st half of their season undefeated as they will travel to take on Indiana University-Southeast on December 14th and host Tennessee Wesleyan on December 29th.
