Pineville Mountain Lions host Leslie Co. Eagles in final regular season game

Posted: Thu 3:24 AM, Oct 25, 2012

(PINEVILLE, Ky.) The Pineville Mountain Lions have lost their last two games, falling to the Harlan Green Dragons and the Hazard Bulldogs. However, head coach Bart Elam says his team is still playing good football.

Elam says his team must continue to play well defensively and take care of the football in order to be successful when the Mountain Lions host the Leslie County Eagles on Friday night.

"What we have to do is slow their passing game down," says Elam. "They love throw the football around and they do a good job of it. They've got a good a little quarterback. And defensively, we've just got to do what we do. We've got to be balanced and run the football and also throw it when we need to. It's a tough matchup for us but we're excited to go give it a shot."
