HARROGATE, TN -- Lincoln Memorial University Head Baseball Coach, Jeff Sziksai, has announced the signing of two players in this year's early signing period.
Logan Jenkins (Seymour High School, Seymour, TN) and Jon Wall (Stanley Community College, Albemarle, NC) will be joining the Railsplitters for the 2012-2013 season.
"I am really excited to have these two guys joining us next fall. They really help to fill our needs, and will fit our offensive system well. Most importantly, they are LMU type of guys," Sziksai commented. "Once again, Coach Schmalz, McMillan, and Adleburg have done an outstanding job out on the road and we are looking to adding to this class in April."

Why He Chose LMU: "I chose LMU because they gave me a chance to continue my baseball career while pursuing my education also. The small campus feel and a top notch baseball program I fell in love with."
Coach Sziksai's Comments: "Jon is a great fit for LMU. He has a unique combination of skills. He is a solid defender, with the ability to play a few positions. He is an above average runner, and has a chance to be a force in our lineup for the next two years."

Achievements: 4-year varsity starter; 2-time IMAC All Conference and Mountain Press All Sevier County Team.
Why He Chose LMU: "After my visits, I chose LMU because I was impressed by the coaches, the baseball program and the University. The SAC is a strong conference and the LMU program has improved every year."
Coach Sziksai's Comments: "I was impressed with Logan from the first time I saw him play. He handles the bat very well, and is the type of player that can create offense at the top of our lineup. We look forward to having Logan join our program next fall."
