HARROGATE, Tenn. -- The Lincoln Memorial University men's basketball team finished up play in the DeBusk-Burchett Hoops Classic with the 101-52 win over Hiwassee Saturday afternoon.
LMU (6-0) was led by Vincent Bailey with 14 points. Desmond Johnson had 13 points, while Jake Troyli and Cam Carden added in 10 points apiece. Dustin Craig led all players on the boards with 10 rebounds.
Hiwassee was led by Cody Lewis' 12 points.
LMU out-rebounded Hiwassee 51-24.
LMU never trailed in the contest as they rolled out to an 18-2 lead and never looked back, outscoring Hiwassee 49-26 in the first half and 52-26 in the second.
The Railsplitters will begin their defense of the South Atlantic Conference crown as they host Wingate Wednesday at 8 p.m.
