WHITESBURG Ky. (WYMT) - Letcher Central head football coach Paul Rains resigned from his position Monday.
Rains spent just one season with Letcher Central, and finished the year with a 2-9 record. Rains took over for Mike Whitaker at the beginning of the season. Rains is expected to take the head coaching job over at Paul Laurence Dunbar. An announcement is expected as soon as Tuesday afternoon.
