Rockets recall former UK F Jones from D-League

HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Rockets have recalled forwards Terrence Jones and Greg Smith from the developmental league.

The 6-foot-9 Jones was a first-round pick (18th overall) by the Rockets last summer out of Kentucky. He has averaged 18.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 17 games for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He's appeared in 11 games for Houston this season.

The 6-10 Smith appeared in 26 games for the Vipers last season and three this year. Smith has played in 44 games for the Rockets this season, averaging 5.5 points and four rebounds per game.
