PULASKI, Ky. (WYMT) -- Not only have the Pulaski County Lady Maroons lost several players from last season, they will also have a new head basketball coach.
Several seniors graduated and now Tarah Muntz takes over a program with less experience.
"Fundamentally, I think we have a long way to go,” Muntz, who played her high school career at Pulaski, said. "Also, just understanding the game of basketball; with younger girls, we seem to just hit on the skills sometimes and they don't know how to play and they are really trying to incorporate fundamentals into the game and how it works together. So I think that's going to be one of our biggest challenges this year. But like I said, we are playing hard and they are very eager to learn and listen and have been very coachable so that helps."
