Roundball Preview: Riverside Christian Rams

LOST CREEK, Ky. (WYMT) - The Riverside Christian Rams may not have won a game last season, but it's a new year.

Coach James Turner and his team are confident heading into 2013. The Rams say are bigger, stronger, and more prepared entering this season, and it all started with a successful off-season that allowed them to build some much needed confidence.

"We are bigger and stronger from last season because the kids are a year older, and we had a very, very good preseason, better than I thought," says Turner. "The kids have a much improved attitude. And I do think that we will win some games this year, but we try to get better every day in practice."

"Well, we just play better together. We're more of a team," says freshman guard/forward Judah Voth.

"I need to improve on boxing out and shooting the ball, I guess," adds Tyler Hudson, a sophomore center.

"We're better than we were last year," says freshman Ephraim Champ. "We're a bigger team."

"(The younger players) hustle," says senior Sean Hughes, the Ram's leading returning scorer. "They play better defense. They put a lot of effort into it."
