Smith, Hilltoppers want more sacks vs. Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) - Western Kentucky's Quanterus Smith wants an encore performance by the Hilltoppers against Kentucky.

At least in the pass rushing department.

The Hilltoppers registered six sacks in last week's 35-0 loss at No. 1 Alabama. And they're facing a Wildcats offensive line that has allowed just three in two games.

Western Kentucky isn't fazed and Smith's season debut has a lot to do with the Hilltoppers' confidence. The senior defensive end returned from a one-game suspension to post a career-best three sacks of against Alabama - the Hilltoppers had eight tackles for loss against the Crimson Tide.

Smith often used his speed against Alabama and Western Kentucky hopes he can disrupt the Wildcats' offense.
