MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State softball team will host non-conference opponent Detroit as part of a five-game homestand starting on Thursday.
The Eagles initially were scheduled to host Western Illinois on Tuesday, but wet field conditions forced the teams to cancel.
The 7-5 Eagles are boasting a five-game win streak that began with a victory at Charlotte on March 7 and continued with a four-game sweep of the Camel Stampede Tournament. MSU outscored its opponents in those five games 37-13 and posted a .372 team batting average.
