LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Charlie Strong knows that snapping a
four-game losing streak on the road against in-state rival Kentucky
on Saturday would be a major step in the rebuilding of his
Louisville program.
For that to happen, the coach's Cardinals will have to learn to
play with confidence.
It's shown in their unimpressive 1-1 start. Louisville failed to
score in the second half of its opening 21-9 win against Murray
State and gave FIU its first win against a BCS-conference team last
week, losing 24-17.
Strong contrasted his team with the Wildcats, which he says is
playing with confidence after two come-from-behind wins against
Western Kentucky and Central Michigan to start the year.
