Tenyer targets in-state recruiting

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WYMT) - After finishing 2012 with a 4-7 record and suffering through its fifth straight non-winning season, the Morehead State football program is under new leadership.

Rob Tenyer was announced as new Eagle head coach Thursday afternoon, and immediately talked about recruiting, and that the number one focus for him and his staff will be to make a mark in-state, and visit every high school in Kentucky.

"Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting. Our staff is going to put a footprint back in the state of Kentucky. That's our number one, number one focus," says Tenyer. "Our goal is to visit every high school in the state of Kentucky over the next 18 months. We're going to establish great relations in our service region, and offer camps and clinics, and sell the mission of Morehead State University."
