Top-seeded Louisville adds to Kentucky's misery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Without even trying, Louisville is adding to Kentucky's misery.

While the defending national champions are left to clean out their lockers after being stunned in the first round of the NIT - yes, the NIT - the Cardinals rolled into Rupp Arena on Wednesday for the NCAA tournament.

As the overall No. 1 seed, no less.

This isn't the first time the Cardinals (29-5) have played at Rupp in the NCAA tournament. But there's no missing the irony. A year after the Wildcats beat Louisville in the Final Four on their way to the NCAA title, the top-seeded Cardinals begin their chase on Kentucky's home court.
