LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky had added five telecasts by the UK IMG Network, through Fox Sports South and CWKYT-TV, to complete its 11-game television schedule, it was announced on Monday afternoon.
Kentucky will have five home games broadcast on the UK IMG Network, through Fox Sports South and CWKYT-TV.
UK’s annual home rivalry tilt with Louisville will be moved to a 6 p.m. ET first pitch at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
The Wildcats will then have their Saturday and Sunday games vs. Missouri televised, with the Saturday game moved to a 7 p.m. ET first pitch.
Kentucky’s final two home games of the regular season with Auburn will also be televised on the UK IMG Network, with the Saturday game moved to a 7 p.m. ET first pitch.
The talent booth for the five-game TV schedule for the UK IMG Network, will feature veteran sports anchor, radio host and play-by-play analyst Dick Gabriel. Gabriel will be joined by former UK standout and MLB Champion and Gold Glove winner Doug Flynn. WKYT-TV sports anchor Brian Milam, who hosts the weekly Gary Henderson Television Show, serving as sideline reporter.
Kentucky opens its 2014 season on Friday vs. No. 1 Virginia in Wilmington, N.C., with first pitch slated for 12 p.m. ET. The opening weekend will be broadcast live on the UK IMG Radio Network, with Gabriel on the call.
