With the win, Lincoln Memorial University avenged a season-ending loss to Anderson in the quarterfinals of the 2013 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Championship while improving to 4-1 on the season and 3-0 in SAC play. Anderson, meanwhile, saw its six-game winning streak snapped, falling to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in league play.
