In addition to Freshman of the Year accolades, Noel was also named the league’s top performing defensive player. Sophomore Kyle Wiltjer was tabbed as the Sixth Man of the Year to add to the honors for the Wildcats.

The loss to the Bulldogs is the first for Lincoln Memorial University (24-5) this season, as they defeated Wingate (21-8) in the two regular-season matchups. It also snaps an eight-game winning streak for the Railsplitters dating back to February 13th. For the Bulldogs, they earn their second-consecutive tournament title and clinch an automatic berth to the 2013 NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament.
