A bright spot in what was a disappointing game for the Cavaliers (1-8, 1-6 MEC) is the fact that senior wide receiver James Long broke the all-time single season reception yardage record with nine catches and 76 yards in the 44-6 loss. For the season Long now has 1,119 receiving yards. On the other sideline kicker Andy Ellington tied his own career long field goal record by kicking 48-yarder with 1:34 left in the third quarter.
