Posted: 11/20/2013 - The Lady Railsplitters outscored the Mars Hill University Lions 45-20 in the first half to pace a decisive 75-54 victory in the South Atlantic Conference women's basketball opener in Mars Hill, North Carolina on Wednesday evening. Lincoln Memorial University improves to 2-1 on the season and gets out to a 1-0 start in SAC play with the win, while Mars Hill drops back to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the league.

Posted: 11/20/2013 - The University of the Cumberlands (UC) football program is having a season to remember. The Patriots have been perfect thus far this season as they finished the regular season 10-0 with a perfect 6-0 record in the conference. UC also won their 6th Mid-South Conference (MSC) Championship and their 5th under Head Coach John Bland. The #1 ranked Patriots will play host in the first round of the NAIA Football Championship Series (FCS) on Saturday. As they prepare for the game against Saint Ambrose (IA), the Mid-South Conference has announced its yearly awards as UC earned a plethora of honors.

Railsplitters move to No. 13 in NABC/Division II Coaches Poll

Posted: 11/19/2013 - After opening the season with a pair of victories, the Lincoln Memorial University men's basketball team moved to No. 13 in the first official NABC/Division II Coaches Poll of the 2013-14 campaign, which was unveiled by officials with the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Tuesday. In the process, the Railsplitters extended their South Atlantic Conference record streak to 43-consecutive weeks ranked in the national poll, the third-longest active streak in the country trailing only West Liberty (WV) and Bellarmine (KY).
