Patriots snap 36-game losing streak

Updated: 10/02/2012 - HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - August 28, 2009, the Knott Central Patriots opened the season with a 40-0 win over Lewis County, beginning the season right at 1-0. However, the following week, the Patriots would fall to the Perry Central Commodores 57-6 and that loss would begin a streak that no one could see coming. The win over Lewis County would be the Patriots' last win for more than three years. 162 weeks, 144 quarters of football, 36 games would pass before another win was recorded by Knott County Central.
