Posted: 10/30/2013 - The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women’s Basketball team started off on a good note before ever playing their first game, as the Patriots were ranked #21 in the nation on the 2013-2014 NAIA DI Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll released Tuesday afternoon. The team received 92 total points, which is based on last year’s ranking, record, and the new class of players each team has recruited. The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches which represent each of the conferences and independents.
