Harlan Green Dragons preaching consistency before hosting Pikeville

As we inch closer to kicking off high school football season, we caught up with the Harlan Green Dragons earlier this week before their season opener against Pikevill on Friday night. In order to lead his program in the right direction this season, head coach J.B. Donahue says "consistency" is the word he's been preaching to his team.

"Well, you know, that's about us. Being consistent," says Donahue. "Being consistent is the big word we're preaching around here this year is being consistent. Doing it right over and over and over and over, and that's what we're preaching this week is being consistent. We worked on some things last week on our grid and we feel like we got a little better running the football and now it's a matter of going out and executing. We gotta be able to block these guys and be disciplined on defense."

The Green Dragons host Pikeville on Friday, Augyust 17th, at 7:30 P.M.
