HINDMAN Ky. (WYMT) - The 26th annual WYMT Whayne Supply Mountain Basketball Classic tips off next Tuesday night with the defending classic champions Knott Central playing Betsy Layne in the second game of the night.
The Patriots won their first ever classic title last year, riding the performance of Camron Justice as he dropped 45 points in the title game. We talked with the Pats as they discussed what it would like if they could win it again.
"It's jut a great honor being able to win that tournament. I remember when I was a little kid, just coming to watch it and the atmosphere being crazy", said Justice. "And then, last year, playing in it, winning it. And it being the first time in school history, it is just a great honor, and I wouldn't want to do it with another school."
"Oh it was great, we loved winning it last year", said forward Simon Christon. "We loved making everybody happy. But we plan to do the same this year. We can't wait to get back out there and just, win another one."
