Harper selected to USA Basketball U-19 team

Posted: 05/20/2013 - LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s basketball signee Linnae (La-NAY) Harper was one of 12 players selected to the 2013 USA Basketball Women’s U19 World Championship Team, announced USA Basketball on Sunday. Harper was one of 33 athletes invited to tryouts for the team, which were held May 16-19 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. The 12-member team was selected by the USA Basketball Junior National Team Committee, chaired by UT Chattanooga head coach Jim Foster.

Samantha Satterlee set to join Lady Railsplitters for 2013-14 season

Posted: 05/20/2013 - HARROGATE, TN - Samantha Satterlee has signed on to join the Lady Railsplitters for the 2013-14 season, Lincoln Memorial University head women's basketball coach Roger Hodge announced on Monday. With the addition of Satterlee, the Lady Railsplitters have bolstered their roster with six total newcomers for next season, as Katrina Ottesen, Josey Harding, Sydnie Anderson, Shermika Harris and Lakeisha Beasley will also be making their way to Harrogate in the fall.
