PAINTSVILLE, Ky (WYMT) - The Paintsville Tigers will play arguably their biggest game of the season Friday night when they host district opponent Raceland.
Paintsville is 1-1 in district play while the Rams are 2-0, but a Tiger win would create quite the mix-up as far as post-season seeding. Even as important as this game is, Head Coach Joe Chirico says they are going about things the same way the have all season long.
"Well were doing the same thing we've always done, every week we just keep preparing for each team starting on Sunday, just doing the same thing we have done all year. Raceland's no different than Fairview or Phelps or anybody like that, every team does the same thing, just preparing from week to week. We definitely base a lot of importance on the district games, because that's the playoffs for us, that's where we seed. They understand the importance of this game, they understand the importance of every district game," said Coach Chirico.
