MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State men's basketball team opens the New Year and its Ohio Valley Conference slate on Thursday when SIU Edwardsville visits Johnson Arena at 7 p.m. ET.
The Eagles (6-8, 0-0) posted a 114-67 victory over Union College in their last game on Sunday. The Cougars (4-6, 0-0) suffered a 68-41 setback to Saint Louis in their last contest on Friday.
Morehead State owns a 3-1 advantage in the all-time series against SIU Edwardsville. The Eagles and Cougars split a pair of meetings last year, with each team winning on its home floor.
