Just moments after being drafted by New Orleans, officials with the Pelicans have announced they are trading Nerlens Noel to Philadelphia.
Yahoo! Sports is reporting , In return, the Pelicans get Jrue Holiday and a 2014 first-round draft pick.
Speculation on why Noel fell out of the top five picks centers around his surgically repaired knee.

Former Kentucky Wildcat Nerlens Noel is heading to New Orleans.
Noel, projected by many, to be the top overall choice instead goes to the Pelicans.
Noel was clearly disappointed as others grabbed the top five slots.
The money allotted to the sixth pick gets $2,643,600.
Had Noel been given the call at number one, he would have made $4.4 million.
Noel joins the 2012 top pick, and former UK All-American, Anthony Davis as well as Darius Miller.
