HAZARD Ky. (WYMT) - Perry Central Commodores football player Austin Pray signed his letter of intent to play for Centre College Thursday.
During his career, Pray accumulated over 5,700 yards of total offense adding 59 touchdowns as he played both wide receiver and quarterback during his career.
"In a way, I am a little bit nervous, just because of the fact it's something new. It's going to be a different place. But at the same time I am excited", said Pray.
You know, I am ready to go down there and hopefully play early. Just be able to show what I can do. It was more about being comfortable. I felt I was more comfortable at Centre", stated Pray.
"The price may be a little bit higher , but at the same time, that is where I am going to be for the next four years. So, why not be somewhere that you want to be at."
