Pressure on Cats will come from within

LEXINGTON, Ky. John Calipari, as we all know has a history of bringing in top tier talent to Lexington, but with that talent comes high expectations, and next season will be no different.

Another number one ranked recruiting class and more expectations of a national championship, but Cal says the only pressure he and his team will feel is the pressure they put on themselves.

"The only pressure we'll have is what we put on ourselves," says Calipari, who is 123-26 in four seasons at Kentucky. "The only real pressure we're going to have is to prepare every day. If we do a great job of preparing, the games are not, the games are fine. We're going to have a tough schedule. Everybody is shooting for us. We got a bunch of top-five teams we're going to end up playing. We have all freshmen and a couple of sophomores; that's our team. We're the youngest team in the country again, as usual, and the expectations will be high, but they always are. We're Kentucky. If you don't want that, you shouldn't coach here or play here. That's just how it is."
