HAZARD, KY (WYMT) - Former Kentucky Wildcat forward Tayshaun Prince will be leaving Detroit after spending 11 seasons with the Pistons.
Prince was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies late Wednesday night as part of a three team deal. In 45 games this season with Detroit, Prince was averaging 11.7 points and 4.6 boards per game. Here is Prince on the trade and his time with Detroit.
"You know, now it is time to move on to the next page, the next chapter and make the best out of it." said Prince. "From my stand point, it's mixed emotions man. Business man, you never know what is going to happen. Definitely and tough, tough time. The court memories obviously. The championship, and then the battles with the Pacers and the Heat and things like that."
