The other 40 have at least one loss.
The Belfry Pirates, the Pulaski County Maroons and the Johnson Central Golden Eagles not only haven't lost, but they are blowing out every team they play.
Through seven games, Pulaski County has outscored opponents 342-151.
Through six games, Belfry has scored its opponents 242-96.
And also through six games, Johnson Central has put up 353 points while allowing a total of just 84.
Along with Belfry in class 3-A, there are four undefeated teams in the state: Wayne County, Bourbon County and Mason County.
In class 4-A, the Golden Eagles find themselves with two other unbeatens: Boyle County and Highlands.
And in class 5-A, Pulaski County is in the same undefeated pool with four other teams: Franklin County, Bowling Green, Scott and Madison Southern.
Pulaski will play the 6-0 Madison Southern Eagles next while Belfry and Johnson Central will play each other on November 1at Haywood Field.
