Patriots earn top-15 finish in NACDA Director's Cup

Posted: 06/11/2014 - The University of the Cumberlands (UC) athletic program had another fantastic year around the Mid-South Conference (MSC) and NAIA in 2013-2014. Winning a total of four Mid-South Conference Championships this season, each Patriot team contributed to this year's success with multiple teams finishing the year in the NAIA Top 25 for their respective sports. After a 2nd place finish for the MSC President's Cup, the Patriots earned a spot in another elite Top 25 field.

Campbell to coach Patriot men's lacrosse program

Posted: 06/11/2014 - The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Athletic Department announced in 2013 that the Patriots would be adding a new sport to the university, Lacrosse. It will become UC's 25th and 26th sport offered, as both a men and women's program will be added. With schools in surrounding states already sponsoring lacrosse, several other schools in the Mid-South Conference are making plans to add lacrosse as well. Vice President of Athletics Randy Vernon has announced the hiring of Pete Campbell to lead the Men's Lacrosse program in its inaugural season.
