PIKEVILLE, KY – Pikeville Medical Center exceeded its goal of blood donations during the spring blood drive by 117%! One hundred donors took the time to share the gift of life. Thanks to the commitment of the donors, more than 267 lives can be saved.

Pikeville Medical Center ranked as the 2nd hospital in the Commonwealth of Kentucky for the most units of blood collected earlier this year. Our goal for 2009 is to be the #1 medical donor in Kentucky.

Help us reach that goal by joining us for our next blood drive scheduled for Friday, July 18th from 9am – 4pm in the 2nd floor atrium of the May Tower. All eligible donors are invited to attend.
