Flu season is nearly here and health officials are already encouraging people to protect themselves by getting flu shots.

Governor Beshear rolled up his sleeve to help kick off Kentucky's flu shot campaign.

New research shows the shot provides protection against catching the virus, but does not have a major impact on death in the elderly.

Researchers say previous reports of a 50 percent reduction in death for older people who were vaccinated was not accurate because people who got the shot tended to be in better overall health.

I am looking for information about the flu shot drive thru clinic on Saturday, October 4th at the Lexmark (Newton Pike side) Parking Lot. Am interested in the times of that clinic.
