FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - There have been few early problems reported on this election day in Kentucky.

A spokesman for the Secretary of State's office says one unusual incident was reported by several callers.

Spokesman Les Fugate says people complained Oak Grove Mayor Dan Potter put up yellow police tape around City Hall, blocking access to rest rooms, telephones and much of the building, except for the polling location.

Fugate says the office has never heard of such an incident before and asks who would want to vote at something that looks like a crime scene. He says it could be considered a form of voter intimidation.

Calls to Potter were not immediately returned.

Are you kidding me? Police tape is voter intimidation? The last election I took part in I was guarding polling locations in Iraq. Car bombs, beheadings, etc. are intimidation, not freaking plastic police tape. It's a shame that our God given rights as Americans are wasted on such (edited). Face real voter intimidation and see if you right to vote is REALLY important to you. This kind of cry-baby attitude is rotting this country from the inside out. Waaa, Waaa, Waaa. It's no wonder so many other nationalities don't like us, we have it the best, but cry the most. If they are intimidated by police tape, maybe they shouldn't be voting in the first place. I am so sick of hearing people complain in this country. If you don't like it FOR WHATEVER REASON, get the He11 out and see how they live in other countries. By the way, has anyone heard of "United We Stand, Divided We Fall"? Yeah, we are at war and guess what the terrorists don't care whether you're Rep or Dem-I know, I asked.

A lotof good christian, voted against the next Governor, Steve Beshear, because of the gambling issue, Let's see if next November they will turn up to vote down the gambling.

Not all poor people are thieves. Pretty broad statement at best.

Maybe Oak Grove needs to remember this when they go to vote for mayor next time. Hey Dan Potter - the same people you wouldnt let use those bathrooms pay for those bathrooms and your salary! Did you forget about that? Idiot.

I personally could care less for either of the two (Fletcher or Beshear). Fletcher has done a sorry job while in office and Beshear will probably do a sorrier job. Like we really need casinos in this state. Let the working people work harder so the deadbeats can send those first of the month checks right into those slot machines. Imagine how many little children will really do without food and clothing now.

I am sorry that more people don't respect the privilege to vote. Ben Chandler DID run for office, in 2003, and unfortunately, look what happened. Ben benefitted greatly from his loss, and now Ernie paid the price for giving up his cushy congressional office....... Ernie, don't think about trying to get it back..... Ben will be tenacious and tough and you won't get back that congressional seat. Might as well go apply for that St. Joe's hospital position I've heard you were interested in taking........

I went to the polls today to give Uncle Ernie a good bye party. Hopefully, alot of others did as well. I am not crazy about Beshear but until Dan Chandler runs for the office, I cant get excited. Hopefully, we can let Ernie know that we dont buy his holier than thou approach and his pardons for his crooked friends...at least those he still has left.

I Converted to Democrat after being life-long Republican. Bush & Fletcher are embarrassments. I still have very conservative values and hope that the entire country wakes up and sees these guys for the corrupt turkeys that they are. Iraq is a mess that our great grandchildren will still be dealing with. Not all Republicans are like Bush and his fools. Please, please, never vote his like in again.

Fletcher was a let down and disgrace for the state of Kentucky. GO BESHEAR AND BIG BLUE. God Bless America.
