Kentucky's Next Attorney General Says Fighting Drugs Top Priority

The man who will soon become Kentucky's next top prosecutor says fighting drugs will be his number one concern when he takes office in January.
When talking to members of the state judiciary committee Friday at Union College, Attorney General-Elect Jack Conway said he'll also be focusing on cyber crime. He says the state needs an internet crimes unit that would focus only on that.
"These internet pharmacies shipping drugs into Eastern Kentucky, identity theft, online scams, I think it's time we had significant investigative resources in Frankfort dedicated to helping local law enforcement to tackle this type of crime," Conway said.
Conway says he'll also push for more internet crime legislation so state law can catch up to technology.

maybe unite wants drugs and extras for theirselves
There is a big prescription drug problem in not only our state but the whole country. IMO, the best solution is to allow addicts easier access to rehab(those who have never been charged with DWI).Some cannot afford it, feel they will lose their children, have no family to help. We need more help for those that are addicted not punishments. and I am talking about those again whom have never been charged with DWIs or and other crimes, but simply get them legally from their doctors.
Like we haven't heard all this before. They all declare war on drugs, truth is, the best you can do is keep it under control.
