An ATV trail spanning across all of Pike County and connecting to West Virginia ATV trails is in the works.
Pike County Fiscal Court members set aside almost $200,000 in coal severance funds to study the possibility and develop trails.
They're also getting grant money to help.
Planners say they have to work out deals with land owners, but think it will be a reality.
Officials believe the county needs the project.
Summitt Engineering is one company already offering to help with services developing the ATV trail.
