A Pulaski County man accused of a deadly shooting on New Year's Eve is free to go home, after a grand jury decides not to indict him for murder.

John Lester's attorney tells us the murder charge against his client was dropped Tuesday.

Police say Lester killed 41 year old Timothy Miller during a fight on New Years Eve.

The defense argued the shooting was self-defense.

Thank goodness this man is finally free. He shouldn't have had to spend the past 3 months in jail for defending himself.
