Foundation Helping Get Teens Ready For Prom

Volunteers are helping some Eastern Kentucky girls get ready for prom.

The Fairy God Foundation was in Floyd County Saturday lending out prom dresses and offering gift certificates for flowers and hair appointments. It's the fourth year the foundation has stopped in Eastern Kentucky to help girls prepare for that special night.

"Oh I think it means the world. It's just a day you're not going to get back and you want the chance to get to go," said Sandra Howell with the foundation.

I think this foundation is a wonderful idea. It gives Senior girls the chance to go, even if they or their parents can't afford a prom dress.

this is great i wish it were in every county and what about help for the guys i know there are young men out there who would love to go to prom but cant afford a tux,things are tough for everyone
