Emergency crews make a dramatic rescue several hours after a man drives over a cliff.

The crash happened Friday morning in a rugged area of Bell County just outside of Middlesboro. Emergency crews spent most of the day searching for the man and it was late Friday afternoon before they were able to pull him to safety.

A group of Ronald Jarrell's former co-workers and rescue crews went looking for the Middlesboro man about ten Friday morning when his wife says he went missing. He had gone turkey hunting in a remote area just outside Middlesboro. They say about two Friday afternoon, they spotted the 65 year old Jarrell. He was at the bottom of a seventy to eighty foot drop off after his pick-up truck had flipped several times down a cliff. He had his seatbelt on and his wife and those who were able to rescue him credit that for saving his life.
