A teenager walks away with minor injuries after a tanker truck crashes into an eastern Kentucky home.

State police say it started when a pick-up truck driving down highway 15 in Knott County crossed the center line and hit the tanker truck.

They say the driver of the tanker truck lost control and ran into the front of the home in the Sassafras area.

Officials say a teenage boy was sitting on the front porch and managed to jump out of the way of the truck.

“It could have been very dangerous but considering all of the circumstances it is minor compared to what could have happened,” Trooper Tony Watts said.

Officials say the tanker truck was carrying eight-hundred gallons of diesel fuel.

They say the driver of the tanker truck had minor injuries.
