The Kentucky Department of Highways says Kentucky 476 near mile marker 2.0 in Perry County will be closed until later this evening while CSX Transportation cleans up a train derailment. This location is near the intersection of KY 550 and KY 1440, near the old M.C. Napier High School.

No injuries are being reported at this time.

Officials say people should try and avoid the area and that questions concerning the length of the road closure should be directed to CSX Transportation.
