One Kentucky lawmaker is doing his part to help with high gas prices by offering up legislation that would put electric cars on the road.

Kentucky Senator Gary Tapp from Shelbyville says he intends to sponsor the bill in the next General Assembly that would allow low speed electric cars on certain Kentucky roads. Right now the cars are classified in the off road category when registered. Governor Steve Beshear has also shown some support for the measure.

I don't want to see Paris I don't need to see Niagara Falls I have seen pictures take time to get to know the person next to you , you may discover a new world with patience in another's eyes.

FINALLY, someone in KY is showing some brains. Let's get those state SUV's and police gas guzzlers off the road, too. They were good for border patrol in mountainous areas and around the Mexican border, but really....why are they needed in Central KY? Eastern KY - yes, I understand. And with the air conditioner running? You know that those parked troopers are sitting there in their cool cars, running up higher gas prices with ZERO miles to the gallon. Yes, to the electric cars! Who Killed the Electric Car? Have you watched that film? You should.
